Society has seen a drastic change within the last two decades. Not just in technology but human behavior and morality. We have undoubtedly changed from the past for the better, But is it really worth it? Technological advancement has ascended substantially in the present century. A journey from the letter communication era to the mail communication era has seen comfort bring to humans. It has accelerated the pace with which the world works and made it convenient. This century has developed unique and astounding progress in every field possible. Major positive alterations are observed within every domain, further opening the doors and creating room for more advancement. This advancement, however, has a negative impact on our society.

As much as we are exposed to overloaded information and instant communication our behavior has diminished. The access that is provided to a common man through his phone is enough to change our etiquette. The era in which growing children used to go outside and learn basic reality skills and hung around making new friends is quite different yet productive than this era where everyone is busy in their artificial worlds. These entertainment devices are addictive and suck every ounce of energy out of you. The interconnection between us has been impacted severely by this technology and creating distances among us.

The information that is provided to us through these devices is certainly potent and fruitful. The management of all this information, however, is still a problem to overcome. When it overloads it will prove to be abortive instead of effective. Amazingly, this also impacts our behavior and morals in real life towards our family and colleagues. These all barriers and hurdles that have evolved inside us because of our overexposure to limitless knowledge have perplexed us. A difference of opinion is created on a larger scale and plenty of discrete bodies have been originated promoting violence based on disagreements. Conspiracies influence people into believing everything they hear and see, and false rumors and facts manipulate their thoughts making them apart from the truth.

That was all for super-saturated information but there’s more to it. The filth and dirt that allure people on the internet is exacerbating. The erotic content that sways in the minds of people altering their perspective towards reality is horrendous. This indecent content is another way a person’s habits and nature are built. The consequences of the availability and misconduct of this content are seen all around us every day. The low morale and character have encouraged ethical limits to be crossed and behavioral criminal activities excelled. The desires and objectives are replaced with materialism and lust. Also, the display of riches creates anxiety, ungratefulness, and envy within people.

Comparisons and discontent with our lives create unpleasant experiences and memories. The mind is occupied with all these thoughts rather than being focused and productive. Technology has immensely changed our nature and it becomes difficult to recognize the right paths in this world. Technology has brought us all close but also has created a wave that rides among people’s brains and maneuvers them in taking them apart. How vulnerable these advancements have made humans and onto the brink of the massacre of morality.

It’s about time that we realize how our nature and habits are manipulated by this overloaded information, false facts, and erotic content. The behavior change that is observed within a gap of the century is astonishing while still terrible. Societies can change when an individual decides to change himself. A chain can be started to nurture our minds and feed them with the rightful knowledge. As soon as this starts it’s better for humanity or else a pit of darkness is waiting for us all somewhere down the line.
