Technology devices (Mobile phones, PDA’s, Tablets, Laptops) have swarmed the world since the early 21st century and they are just getting better every passing day. They are a necessary part of our daily life without which our work, communication, or entertainment remain incomplete. We all have equipped ourselves with these tech devices and utilizing them in every field of life as a key component. Our modern world rely so much on them that it is seemingly impossible to survive without their support. All in all, they have comforted human labor work and played a pivotal role in the crux. As much as they sound like a major fundamental of human existence, they have heisted some of our greatest elements of being human.

Undeniably, these tech devices adversely effect our mental and physical health gradually. It causes headaches, fatigue, sleep disorders, brain cancer, neck and back pain, etc. Mentally it can lead to anxiety, laziness, depression, tiredness, anxiousness, etc. These all are possible outcomes of excessive use of tech devices. Their frivolous operation is making the younger generation vulnerable to the above benign complications. Most of our tasks are based on these tech devices and it is unthinkable to work without them. In return, we suffer severe health symptoms causing us to lose productivity and efficiency in our jobs.

Similarly, as it dwindles individuals' proficiency, collectively it seems much worse. Our morals and manners are vindications of our evolution among tech devices. As much as these tech devices have brought closer the very far ones, in exchange they have stolen our close ones instead. Our concentration and focus of surroundings have been impaired and diminished from time to time. Social interaction is reduced and a sense of loneliness is created among the younger generation with high usage of these devices. Less face-to-face interaction accompanies little practicality hence diverting our generation away from reality.

We all experience these repercussions in our daily life whether with us or with someone else. We all feel indolence and dullness when using our phones making us delay of our duties. We all feel heaviness after staring at these devices for a long. We all encounter the awkward situation when you have told someone the whole story while they are busy on their phones providing hardly any attention. Or you may have been enjoying something on the phone rather than listening to whom you are with. We all have been in gatherings where silence prevails while everyone is occupied by their mobile phones. We all have been depriving our sleep and wasting time all day and night watching futile content on them.

These controllers within our hands reach make us prone to distraction. They provide multitasking capability which itself is proven to be impotent. Outstretched accessibility at one’s fingertips make them less attentive and observant. They also cause apathy, anger and envy in society. As much as these tech devices have made our lives convenient and much more coherent, they have unquestionably divided our population to a great extent. Admiration of these tech devices is worthy, but condemnation of their hostility is also vital.

Considerably, we are living in an era of rapid complex alterations in human behavior due to advancements in technology. As close as these devices have brought us from all corners of the world, they have disconnected us from the very close ones of ours. The direct association is crucial. Controlled use of these devices and managed promotion along with strict authorization will ensure that our generation is saved from the trap of this fantasized world. These effects are only the tip of the iceberg and as we go in depths nobody can predict what future might hold for us. It is never too late to realize and mend.

Let us start this change through ourselves to inspire others to bring these amendments in their lives. Influencing others can start a chain that can save humanity on the verge of a decline. It’ll save us from the subjugation of these tech devices and from the drift of our etiquettes that distinct us as superior to all other species on the planet.
