It is nighttime. You have a tiring day and you are about to go to bed. You have worked your ass off but still, there is a feeling inside you that is not satisfied. Your mind is a mess. You are thinking tons of different things at the same time; your present situation, your past mistakes, your plans, your goals, your promises, your inner soul, and all these things are stirring inside your brain. You are unable to figure out anything. You are walking the way but seem lost somewhere between. You want to fulfill a lot of destinies but you’re lost, and you have gone to sleep rationalizing all these emotions to wake up and repeat the cycle.

This whole drama is apparently what goes through our minds when we think about life. It is a diurnal schedule of our brains eating our soul bit by bit. But there is nothing to worry about. It is a perfectly normal situation and this time comes to all of us. When our spirit goes into a routine or determines to do something unimaginable, the body tends to resist it. Our body is fond of comfort and leisure and it serves as a roadblock for everything our souls push for. A new thing when introduced in our life, our brain develops certain opinions and judgments, most of them, well, negative. Our inner-self, however, pushes us to go all bucks. This war between our body and inner-self makes us wander in the dark forest of doubt, insecurity, diffidence, and nervousness which triggers our thinking process that appears as a nightmare.

Now, as discussed, that it is a normal situation, there is a way out of it too. It is, though, intractable. There are plenty of ways to mend this state but here I am going to explain just one, which in my opinion, is the base of all other solutions out there. Determination, communication, intelligence, reading, listening all play part in your success, but these all aspect rely on one factor, “Self-Love”.

Self-love elaborates that you need to believe in your instincts, you need to have faith in your decisions and you should follow your gut. It provides a sense of self-actualization. It makes you have faith in yourself. It provides you with power that won’t have been possible to acquire elsewhere. It is an emotion that will drive you towards your destination. It is a feeling that will keep you motivated and confident in the most arduous circumstances. It is a nourishment for your soul. Simply, self-love does wonders for you throughout your life.

Self-loving requires time and patience. We all have a built-in mechanism that feeds us comforting and relaxing moods. So believing in yourself and having that belief in your heart that you deserve it, and that you are capable of it, it is your purpose, is a gradual process. We need to feed our minds with positivity and try to keep an optimistic approach often. Write your goals on paper and paste them into your room. Have a wallpaper on your phone that stimulates your desire to achieve your goals. Whenever alone try repeating any constructive sentence in your mind, for example; “I know I can do it”, “I am a miracle for these people who gonna change their lives”, “ I am going on the right path, keep moving, you’re nearly there”, “ I am an awe-inspiring creation of God”, “ I am beautiful, charming and handsome in my way, I am uniquely profound” etc.

Transitioning your mind with all these thoughts and beliefs will gradually shift you on a positive mindset board and you will be able to move swiftly on the right track. Self-loving is a trick that no magician can show you. You are the only magician of your belief. You are the only boss of your thoughts and only you have power over yourself. You need to let it all go and just love yourself unconditionally.

Another way of loving yourself is to see through the eyes of someone who love you. Because anyone who loves you can see what you’re capable of. Your lover is your positive mindset, your optimism, your believer, your cheerer. The things they can see in you, you cannot. So spend time with them and nourish yourself with their belief to belief in yourself.

This is a never-ending process. We all struggle to love ourselves now and then. So, it is essential to keep pushing these thoughts and keep your head up high, keep understanding your intuition, keep using your gifts and keep succeeding. There was no, nor is any other way to reach the top of the mountain without loving yourself. Eventually:

“It’s not who you are that holds you back, it is who you think you’re not.”
